Adrienne Simpson

Adrienne Simpson worked for many years as the director of operations for 2 national health care insurers. She was downsized twice. While at home unemployed her Mom decided to relocate from Georgia to Michigan. Believing her mom would move the same way she would, Adrienne volunteered to assist her mom with the move.

She quickly found out that seniors move differently. They downsize. She also discovered how fragmented the downsizing process is. A streamlined customer service need was identified and Smooth Mooove Senior Relocation Services, Inc was born.

She and her team of relocation specialists have been serving the seniors of the Southeast since 2002 providing downsizing consultations, sorting, organizing, packing, home and senior transport, home reassembly, estate sales, antique appraisal, and home renovation.

She and the business have been featured in Family Circle, PINK, MORE, Essence, Black Enterprise, and Woman's Day magazines in addition to Martha Stewart Living radio and "What's Possible" written by CNN reporter Daryn Kagan in addition to numerous Internet articles. She is the winner of the 2006 Atlanta Business League Non-Traditional Enterprise award, the OPEN from American Express "Make Mine A Million $ Business" contest, a member of the National Association of Senior Move Managers, Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, and the Atlanta 50+ Housing Council.
